The Crossfit way of gaining health and fitness

There are many people who can start a dieting and exercise regime—and actually keep it going. Other people, however, can't adjust as easily as they can. Sometimes, all a person needs is something different enough to make them excited about getting fit. There's a special exercise/training program aimed at accomplishing just that.

Crossfit is that program. It is designed for people who want to 'build better health, while increasing their fitness level as they have fun. As a general physical preparatory (GPP) program, it combines activities like body conditioning, weightlifting and gymnastics to enhance one's mobility and fitness, making their lifestyle much healthier in return.

As described by the program itself, Crossfit is like 'moving loads over distances over time/period intervals.' In other words, their objective aims to influence people's lives by making them aware of their bodies to get fit. Crossfit is designed to 'take advantage of one's time' (efficiency and effectiveness). To accommodate this, most sessions are at least 60 minutes long, with one of the first workouts 'of the day' involving skill/strength warm-ups.

Many countries around the world host Crossfit training centers to help people get into shape—and feel great while doing it. Singapore is one of many countries introducing Crossfit into people's daily exercise routines. As a Crossfit-certified facility, Crossfit Unit Singapore helps locals get into shape on their own whim and time.

Crossfit Unit is a recently Crossfit-affiliated headquarters located in Singapore. Much like other Crossfit HQ affiliated 'headquarters,' Crossfit Unit practices the fundamentals and values that Crossfit uses around the world.

At their Crossfit Singapore facilities, they use standard Crossfit-approved equipment and training methodologies that not only ease people into a regular training regime, but provides them challenge at the same time. Their mission, as stated on their site, is 'cultivating a holistic fitness lifestyle through varied and continued functional motions while forging progressive fitness and much better health.'. The types of programs featured at Crossfit Unit include:
