3 Reasons Why You Should Switch to Drinking Alkaline Water



There are many reasons to why you should switch to drinking alkaline water. On top of these is that it is simply one of the best liquids you can treat your body to, even better than water.
Super Hydration Powers

Alkaline water has super hydration powers. It hydrates twice as fast as common tap or bottled water and do it twice as effectively too. Alkaline water, which is water that has undergone through an alkaline water ionizer is simply more absorbable than ordinary tap and bottled water. This means, it can hydrate even parts of the body that ordinary body cannot do. With 75% of our body being water, it is always important to stay hydrated. Dehyradation can be deadly and costly. 

If you are not even fond of water in the first place, and prefer to chug down alchol and caffeine, then you have more reasons to change your drinking habits. Alcohol and caffeine are both diuretics, which mean they stimulate the kidneys to excrete more dilute urine.

 In other words, when you drink coffee or drink beer, you are going to make your kidneys filter out more water and not reabsorb it like they usually do. So the result is more diluted urine, and you lose water from your body. Hangovers mostly result from dehydration of the body and the resulting in the slowing down of the liver in detoxifying the body. Instead of drinking all these unhealthy beverages, switch to ionized alkaline water.
To avoid dehydration and its deadly consequences, simply drink more water, particularly alkaline water.  The "recommended" amount is to drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day. With alkaline water, you can drink only around four glasses and you will get the same benefits. But why stop at four glasses?

To make sure your body is not suffering from dehydration and whether your body is healthy, check your urine regularly. Urine should be a slight yellow colour, clear, and not very smelly. If the urine is darker, if the urine looks cloudy, or if the urine smells stronger, then chances are, you are somewhere along the spectrum of dehydration. Remedy this by downing more glasses of alkaline water.

With bad pollution, unhealthy diet and excessive stress, humans are exposing them to toxins and free radicals, which are very dangerous for the human body. Because of improper nutrition leading to insufficient levels of internal and dietary oxidants, people sustain repetitive attacks from radicals, which are harmful to the cells making up people’s bodies. This collective damage will eventually affect the structure of the cells and ultimately, the functionality of people’s bodies. Infected cells lead to infected tissues and organs, and to chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease. By simply switching your drinks to alkaline water or using alkaline water ionizer on your water, you can take control of the situation. Alkaline water produces antioxidants that can fight off these free radicals and flush out toxins from your body, much better than ordinary water.

One reason why people get sick is because they eat too much of acidic foods. This comes as no surprise. A dietary pattern that consists of excessive amounts of calories, fats, cholesterol, and sodium, but is low in complex carbohydrates and fiber, is the top most reason why people develop cardiovascular diseases. This kind of dietary pattern is a very acidic one. Naturally, a reversing of the dietary patterns can lead to reduced incidence of a fatal disease such as CVD and more others. If you introduce alkaline water in your system, your body can lower down its acid levels and diseases will not be able to thrive.
